1934 Leica III

So I received this Leica from a customer whose husband passed away. She didn't know anything about the camera and just didn't want to throw it away but give it to someone that would care for it. I offered to take the camera, upon getting into it the focus was way off both vertically and horizontally. I did some research on how to the make the adjusts via rotating one prism on the right of the viewfinder for the vertical adjustment and then going behind the tiny screw on the right to adjust the horizontal focus. I also had to lube the take up spool inside as it was really stiff to pull out and needed pliers at the time to do so. Now it’s fully working and below is photos of the camera and some photos I took with the camera at a Heritage Festival which will be another post itself for here. I do regret not getting the customers name. I would love to show her its working and cared for again now.
